“A body is made up of many parts, and each of them has its own use. That's how it is with us. There are many of us, but we each are part of the body of Christ, as well as part of one another.”
- Romans 12:4-5
We are all connected through Christ Jesus, and we all have a purpose in His worldly kingdom as well as His kingdom at West Cobb Church. The heart of WCC is to help you realize your connection to God, His church, and to other believers.
- Connecting with God: We were created to have a personal relationship with God. Jesus said, "I have come in order that you might have life," life in all its fullness!" John 10:10. Jesus will give you what you need most: purpose, love, and forgiveness.
- Connecting to the church: Connecting with a church is your way of telling others that you want to be "plugged-into" a church. It tells people that you are a Christian, you agree with the church's beliefs, and you support its philosophy. It also lets others know that you want to serve God through this church. You want to make a difference in your community by working with other believers, not just as a lone-ranger.
- Connecting with other believers: The people at WCC are one of the best kept secrets in our area. We are genuine and real, just like you. Whether it is through Connection Groups on Sunday morning, Building U classes, or serving in a ministry there are endless opportunities to connect with other believers and in the process grow closer to God.
