Ken Williams, Lead Pastor
Ken Williams is a distinguished Poet Laureate with degrees from Harvard, Yale, and Cambridge. Well...not really! He does write the weekend worship service messages, but they aren't exactly poetic. He also holds degrees from three colleges, but none of them are Ivy League. Ken spent most of his life in Florida and graduated with a music degree from Florida State University. (He claims that FSU is a devout Christian college, but we know better!) He then studied theology at Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. Ken earned his Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership. Don't let the Ph.D. scare you, though. He has friends and family who keep his head out of the clouds. Ken moved to Marietta with his wife, Shawna, in February, 2001 to pastor WCC. He and Shawna have two teenagers, Jeffery and Cassidy. By the way...Ken has visited Harvard University. Maybe that counts for something! Email Ken.
Wes Walker, Creative Arts Pastor
Wes Walker began his life as a child prodigy, starring in musicals and dramas at an early age. He was even a Star Search finalist when he was sixteen. (Yes, it's true!) We tried to put a video clip of his Star Search debut on our web site, but he says he has lost the dvd. We do know that he sang a Barry Manilow song on the show. (Maybe that's why he can't seem to find it!) Wes is a native of Cobb County and has been with WCC since its birth. He attended New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He leads our Creative Arts Ministry and leads our worship teams on Sundays. (If you attend a worship service, he's the energetic guy with the crazy hair.) While Wes is extremely talented, his greatest attribute is his heart for God and people. He has been married to his wife, Jana, since 1995. They have three daughters, Michaela, Madison and Maleah, and a son Luken. Email Wes.
Nate Turner, Student Pastor
Nate Turner serves as our Student Pastor. He grew up right here in Alpharetta, GA. Deep down Nate really wanted to be a cowboy in his younger years (we have the pictures to proof it!), but then decided to go to school instead and graduated from University of Georgia. After college, Nate attended Dallas Theological Seminary, where he graduated with honors. He has served on staff at churches in Dallas, TX and Fairhope, AL. He has an amazing heart for students and wants to see them go deep in the walk with God. He and his wife Amy have been married since 2003 and have a sweet and energetic daughter named Emma. Email Nate.
Kim Harris, Leadership Strategist
Kim Harris is an essential member of the WCC staff, and to be honest, we have no idea how we ever survived without her. As Leadership Strategist, her major focus is to enlist, equip, and enable our volunteer leaders who, in turn, lead our church ministries. Kim earned a master's degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and has served in the ministry at several local churches. Kim and her husband, Randy, have two children, Mason and Emily, who are in college now. Email Kim.
Sydney Haberer, Administrator

Sydney Haberer juggles many plates at West Cobb Church. She is the lovely voice you hear on the phone, she updates the website, keeps the staff on track, assists volunteers, coordinates publicity and directs information... whew!! Sydney has lived her entire life in Georgia and is a graduate of Harrison High School and Georgia Highlands College. Her husband, Ben is the Children's Pastor at a neighboring church. They live in Dallas and are the proud parents of two wonderful dogs! Email Sydney.
Janette Crane, Kids ROCK Director
Janette Crane and her family have been WCC members since 1999. If you hear a bit of ruckus and some super crazy Praise music you are getting close to Kids ROCK on Sunday! Parents and children in grades 1 - 5 benefit each Sunday from Janette's love of people and their Creator. Janette enlists, writes, creates, leads, sings (with COOL moves) each Sunday in our Children's program, Kids ROCK. Teaching children about God's love and guiding them to walk in His ways is what Janette is all about. A native of Oregon, she attended Northwest Christian College. In 1994 she graduated with Honors and a BS in Management and Marketing from Park University. She and her husband, Jeff, have 3 great kids Julia, Spencer, and Hailey. Email Janette.
