Becoming a Member at West Cobb Church
We’re glad that you are thinking about joining our church here at West Cobb Church. We would love to talk to you in person, but first here is some information that might be helpful to you during this membership process. Once you’ve read this, you can fill out the form below and we will contact you.
To become a member of West Cobb Church, you must first become a follower of Christ. This is the most important part of becoming a member. Once you have made that decision then the Bible teaches followers to be baptized by immersion. Baptism is a public way of showing that you’re a follower of Christ. Baptism at West Cobb Church is on the first Sunday of each month. When you’re ready to be baptized you can go to this link here, fill out the form and someone will contact you regarding the details of your baptism date. Once you’re baptized, then you’re considered a member of West Cobb Church.
Many attenders at West Cobb Church have already decided to follow Christ, have been baptized by immersion in an evangelical church and want to officially become a ‘member’ of West Cobb Church. If this is your experience, we’ll contact your previous church and let them know what’s happening.
Open House is an informal time when people checking out WCC find out about our vision, mission, history and programs. How to become a member is also covered during Open House. Open house is on a Sunday morning from 10 am to 12 pm in the Ranch house, usually once every 6-8 weeks. Open House is a great experience but your attendance is not required for membership.
