		<description>You&#039;re a witness to me that God does strengthen us in our inner being Tom. I know the issues in my life shrink back down to their true size when I read about your struggles. Your selfless devotion is a powerful testimony. And who wouldn&#039;t wonder &#039;why&#039; and grow frustrated and angry? I would. I think God appreciates the honesty. What He doesn&#039;t like is the complete absence of a conversation at all. In the media, heros are made just by doing something &#039;good&#039; that took all of 20 seconds. But heros of the faith can stand strong for decades. Thank you for sharing! It&#039;s changed my outlook on things!</description>

When I read verse 20 &quot;Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us&quot;... I look back on the events of today when my wife had to have a bone marrow biopsy; I can&#039;t help but be focus on the &quot;Who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine&quot;.  On the one hand I can&#039;t help but be resentful and angry asking why Cindy&#039;s health issues continue when I have asked consistently for years for her health to be restored or at least stabilized, but then reflecting back on verse 16, &quot;I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being&quot; - I KNOW without a shadow of a doubt that the reason I don&#039;t STAY resentful and angry at Him and everyone and everything around me is because of His glorious riches that DO strengthen me in spirit and allow me to continue on.</description>

		<description>This is one of my favorite passeges of scripture - I go to it when I need a &quot;Jesus loves me fix&quot;  But today, the word power jumped out at me too.  I never noticed it there 3 times, but since I studied the Holy Spirit this week - here He is again!  Why would I need power to understand Jesus&#039;s love for me?  Because it is incomprehensible when I try to understand it.  The Holy Spirit not only resides in us, He also reveals Jesus to us, allowing us to grasp the truth of God&#039;s love in a way where we can be filled up! And then, the Spirit has the power to change us, so that we reflect God&#039;s glory. When we are filled with the love of Jesus, it will change not only us, but the world!  if I want more of the Holy Spirit, I have to give Him all of me, so I can be filled with His fullness!</description>
